This Sunday, World Communion Sunday, we welcome guest preacher, Rev. Dr. Fahed Abuakel, who is a former moderator of PC(USA). Rev. Fahed is a Palestinian-American who has been a Presbyterian minister in the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta since 1978. He was born 25 miles northwest of Nazareth in Galilee to Palestinian Arab Christian Orthodox parents. His mother was key to his spiritual growth, and Scottish Presbyterian mission co-workers influenced his call to the ministry.
