Volunteers ensure that the worship services at Grace Presbyterian run smoothly and are welcoming to all.
Greeters
Grace families and members volunteer each Sunday to greet members and visitors as they enter the sanctuary for services. This is an important ministry, as many who join Grace can recall who first greeted and made them feel welcomed. Contact Elder Greta Miller.
Ushers
Usher teams assist with seating members for Sunday services, directing the congregation to communion, collecting the offering, and conducting other Sanctuary duties as needed. Ushers are also called on for installation services and funerals. Contact Head Usher Scott Peterson.
Flower Guild
Every week, Guild members arrange and place flowers in the Sanctuary, contributing to the beauty of our worship service. After the Sunday service, the flowers are rebundled in smaller bouquets for volunteers to deliver to members who are sick, homebound, or who might be celebrating a significant joy. Contact Pat Ferrell, Worship Elder.
Sanctuary Guild
The sanctuary is maintained and stocked with friendship registers, prayer cards, offering envelopes, hunger offering envelopes, pencils, and worship bags for the children. Dedicated volunteers accomplish all of this without notice during the week. Contact Worship Elder Pat Ferrell.
AV Team
This team provides the projection and sound during each service and for other events. It also videos the services and broadcasts them on Facebook Live. Contact Communication Elder John Machado.
