Many of us, our loved ones, or friends live with health conditions, chronic pain, disabilities, and/or neurodivergence. In this group, we explore how those experiences connect us to a broader conversation about disability, belonging, and the church. Our goal? To ponder, pray, and plan together ways to ensure our church is a place where people of all ages and abilities are genuinely known, valued, and empowered to contribute to God’s kingdom. The study draws from Disability and the Way of Jesus: Holistic Healing in the Gospels and the Church by Bethany McKinney Fox, but reading the book is optional!

This Zoom summer group grew out of a shared interest in the works of Fr. Richard Rohr, a Franciscan priest, author, and found of the Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC). During each meeting we discuss one week of the CAC’s Daily Meditations around the theme Good News for a Fractured World. Contact the office for the Zoom access info.

Rally Day marks the beginning of the Fall season at Grace, with OASIS, Bridges to Worship, and Play ‘n’ Worship starting up with new and exciting programs. Choirs begin, events are being planned, and you are invited to come and see what is here for you.
We’ll celebrate with a potluck lunch after worship where the new programs will be rolled out. Fellowship will provide the main course, and we ask you to bring sides and desserts if you are able to round out a shared meal.

Are you looking for a way to set everything down, turn off the chaotic and deeply troubling news of the world, and find a time and place to refresh your heart and spirit? Then join us for Centering Prayer on Monday mornings, beginning September 8. In this group you will find a loving community of seekers who wish to be refreshed in silence as they grow closer to God. Join once, a few times, or every Monday to experience the love, hope, and healing that time in sacred silence provides. All are welcome. For information, contact Cindi Bryant.
