An evening of classics and contemporary pieces arranged for brass and handbells, you’ll discover the generous sound of brass both uplifting and entertaining. The Joyful Ringers have been Grace’s handbell choir since their dedication in December 1978. They play on the oldest set of Malmark bells still in service in the country. They will be joined by The Silver 5 Brass Quintet, seasoned performers with a wide repertoire of classics and contemporary pieces. “The silver doesn’t come from the instruments, but from the fact that we’ve all been playing for a really long time!” Their common bond is Joyful Ringers’ director Jim Dunstan. Come see and hear what wisdom and experience bring to an evening of great music.
